Good, But Not Great T.I.E. DefenderApr 05, 2010 When I saw that the T.I.E. Defender was going to be made into a LEGO, I was ecstatic. I loved flying as this vehicle in the original TIE Fighter game years back. I got this as a gift, and I started to build it soon after. It took me around 30 minutes to build. The only thing that was a little tedious was the wings, but that was to be expected. My only real complaint was that the model was designed with a rotating cockpit, which isn't something in the design of the "real" vehicle. Outside of that one design flaw, I say bravo to Lego on making this vehicle that never made a movie appearance!

Almost perfect TIE DefenderFeb 15, 2010 For a Lego Star Wars set, this didn't have very many pieces, but it was simple. Due to the nature of the model, it was a little repetitive, but again pretty easy to make. I made a small alteration in mine to prevent the cockpit from rotating, as I found it an unnecessary feature of the model. All in all, a very good model of my favorite starfighter. Now if only Lego would come out with the Chiss clawcraft, I'd be set.
