Very little for very muchJul 02, 2010 The idea of a series of lego sets modeling real buildings is a phenomenal idea. However, the Architecture sets fall totally flat.
The model only stands about 8 inches tall. There is no detail whatsoever on it either. With the limitations of its size, and the building itself only being 3x3 at its thickest, you just cant get any of the detail of the tower. While the model does represent the actual tower well enough to be instantly recognizable, it's just too small to be any fun.
You can build it in about 5 minutes. There is pretty much zero interactivity with it after that. It's just a small building to set on your desk, that isn't particularly pretty to look at.
The architecture models should have been larger sets that grow to up to 4 feet in height. The details of the windows and steel bars should show. Building it should be a small feat of architecture. The final result should be impressive and astounding. A set like that would easily be worth $100. However, this tiny thing is worth maybe 5 dollars tops.
LEGOS!May 23, 2010 Again, perfect delivery. Cheaper than the Lego Store. Awesome addition to our collection. Can't wait for more!
Cool Set!May 18, 2010 This is a pretty cool set. It has 69 pieces. It took me about 2 minutes to build. I have it on the desk I have in my room. The cool part about the instructions is that it has a note from the person who created this model, and all of the facts about the building! I am going to buy more of the buildings/landscapes in this series soon, and probably some for my birthday. The set stands about 8 or 9 inches tall, and it has a baseplate with "Sears Tower" written of a flat black piece. This is a pretty cool set, and I honestly like it better than some bigger (not architecture) sets that I have. Overall, this set is extremely sturdy, my dog knocked it off the table and only one of the white pieces came off, so overall rating is 10/10. Oh, and I rated 5 for educational because it tells you all about the skyscraper.
Lego ArchitectureJan 24, 2010 I purchased this toy for my children ,and they have been having hours of fun using it.It arrived quickly and exactly as promised.I would definitely use this merchant again.
a little disapointing much smaller than I realizedJan 23, 2010 This is a good likeness but not a good value. It is quite overpriced for the size once assembled.
