Great toy for an older child or adult.Jul 15, 2010 This was a Father's Day gift for my husband. He love architecture and Legos, so it was the perfect combination. He loved the set, and had fun with our 6 year-old son putting it together. However, I was a surprised at how small the end structure is. The size is in the description, but it still is quite small when all assembled. Regardless, it's a nice set to have and we look forward to buying other sets from this collection of Legos.

Nice toy but expensiveJul 15, 2010 It is nice but just pricey for what we get.
My son is a Lego addict and collects a various lines of their products. We got a few products from this lines. The reason that we got 2 of this from Amazon is to share the building activity with his best friend. They enjoyed the building part but never went back to it.
Of all the sets / lines that we got, this architectural lines got the shortest attention span from the kids. They liked the built part but never enjoyed the "watch" parts. He had the Statue of Liberty, the four building set, and even selected Bionical sets were proudly displayed in his book shelf. None of the completed architectural set were ever displayed. They ended up in a box in his toy closet very quickly.
Of all the Lego sets, this lines of product got the least "enjoyment" factor and were the most pricey ones considering the size / what we got out of them.
Guggenheim is a fun LEGO set with architectural lessonsJun 23, 2010 easy to put together, comes with an informative booklet with some blurbs about the museum and the construction of the LEGO design

Nice Change of Pace for LegosApr 05, 2010 I bought this for my 10-year-old son who's Lego crazy. Although it was a very simple project for him (It took about 10 minutes), at least it was something different from a Star Wars spaceship. The finished product is a nice keepsake with a nameplate, but it is surprisingly small (not even four inches tall) so it seems like a lot of money for something so small and easy to assemble, but it is one that will remain on display in my son's room. If you like Frank Lloyd Wright it is a cool change of pace as far as toys go.

Smaller than I thought!Feb 08, 2010 This is a great set and I love that it is a really good representation of the actual architecture. My only complaint (and I realize I could have figured this out pre-purchase had I carefully read the measurements) is that it is TINY! When spending $50+ on a Lego set I had a certain size in mind for the finished product and it is about a third of the size I had in mind. So it's a bit expensive for what you get, but still a good set.
